@ShashaSelflove 10/29/15 Nothing Really Matters

Nothing really matters, in the greater scheme of things everything blows over and you move on. No. It all counts, including the stuff no one sees.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking that what happens today does not affect your tomorrow, if it happened it’s because it has some kind of purpose in your life. Whether it be tripping on uneven asphalt or tripping over uneven love affair – everything matters. You’re going to come into contact with people, places and things that will alter the course of your life, that will reroute the direction of your fate – Why aren’t you paying attention to those things?

The truth is at being passive aggressive about your life is only going to make your circle small, instead of broadening your horizons you are limiting your possibilities. I’m not sure why would you like to do that when there is so much life to be lived, when there are so many moments to be had, when there is so much love to be given and received. We live in a world where connections are distant but do have the possibility to be deep, we have technology that enables us to have a chance to encounter all different kinds of people, so our possibilities are limitless but we stagnate ourselves into thinking that there isn’t a greater purpose,  that looking in the direction that we are suppose to go in is just to hard.

It is always more comfortable to stay cornered and say, “nothing really matters”, because it’s easier not to have an invested action. Staying comfortable is okay if you are recovering, but after you dust yourself off from whatever you needed comfort from is over – it is time to get back to it. Pick up the lessons that are gifted to you, reject the notion that it is to hard, turn away from empty moments,  deny negativity the opportunity to take anything away from you and arm yourself with the tools you have already acquired.

Realize that everything has a takeaway whether its big or small it doesn’t matter – it doesn’t diminish its significance the point is that it is supposed to leave you with something. Whether it be an impression, a memory or a cure for what ails you, try your best take in the gift that is being given to you or was  earned through tears and struggle.

Stop fighting it, stop resisting your rise to the next level we are all trying to get into a place of peace, of tranquility, of maintaining our positivity because it’s so hard to get to that place and stay there. It’s very easy to fall into the habit of being negative because there is so much negativity around us. We go to work and there’s a pile on our desk, we see our friends and they tell us about their misery, we open up the mail and there is yet another bill smiling at us.  Just like we have talked negativity into our lives, we can change our self talk to positivity and realize that everything matters on your path.

Stop fighting it and get going,  there is something amazing waiting for you. Everything matters,  Big Hug!

  1. This is so true, that we do not connect the dots of our lives, everything is significant. Einstein said it best, “We have two choices. We can act as though nothing is a miracle or we can act as though everything is a miracle.” Great post

    1. Thanks so much Christina! We have to appreciate all the experiences in our lives, it is all for a greater purpose!

  2. The Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:8 instructs think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable. If anything is excellent or praiseworthy think on these things.

    The mind is the true battlefield, isn’t it? Attitude and actions are shaped by how we think. Jesus said as a man thinks so is he. It takes a very small thing, a rudder to turn a ship around, and one thought and focusing on that thought makes all the difference. The writer of Hebrews said keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith Who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross. There is no stamina or endurance without purpose.

    You had many excellent points. Definitely food for thought. Have a wonderful day!
