This year has been amazing, we have shared and commented about our ups and downs. We have made each other laugh and cry, but most importantly we have planted many seeds for the future. As we review everything that has happened this last year, let us also take a hard look of what we have started, what we are cultivating for the year to come.

Many seeds have been planted this year with so much care and concern. You have prayed for a breakthrough and it will come as long as you continue to diligently care for what you have planted. Don’t use just any soil, don’t water it to much or to little and remember that the fruit that is to come has to be picked only when ripe. Don’t hurry it but don’t fall asleep on it either.  We all have so many projects we want to take on, so many hopes and dreams that we focus on and want so badly, if it is meant for you – it will be for you at the right time. There are so many projects we have put aside, dust them off and make time for them.  Continue to plant, don’t focus on just one plant – you have so much to offer that you shouldn’t limit yourself!

I for one must say, I am thankful and humbled that so many of you take the time to read my ramblings. Almost 1,000 followers and so many of you take the time to comment and contact me. This coming year I will try my best to continue my message of staying positive through adversity and I want you to continue to reach out to me! We are one big community and the bigger we get, the more we can spread the message of living and thinking in the positive.

Buy yourself nice underwear, remove certain people from your life, stop (try) smoking, book a trip, put more in your savings account, find closure and acceptance, learn a new language (Bonjour), accept patience into your life, don’t limit your possibilities, hug more often (if you are comfortable with that, at least fist bump), go to a play, accept that invitation and allow someone different into your life. 2016 is promising and vibrant!

I am excited for my projects and your projects as well. Get motivated,  stay encouraged, receive my virtual high-five, know that you are worthy, remember to be beautiful, stay positive and always demand that those around you show you selflove! I send a big hug and cheers to 2016!

  1. Reblogged this on smilez4miles and commented:
Thx so much for your post today! Your fourth paragraph related to me with every line you wrote. A couple of those are now on my list for resolution for the next year. Thanks again for that amazing blog. Happy New Year!

  2. Good morning from my little apartment in beautiful downtown Kew Gardens, Diron!
Your words, even though I always suggest the same attitude to others, hit the spot in my own psyche today. Yup…even optimists get the blues. I’ve been publishing a subtle counter-suicide newspaper for 26 years….Indeed, it’s named: THE OPTIMIST NEWSPAPER. Sometimes, although never completely drained, my own river of positive energy drains to a trickle. Christmas is very tough. Very. I’ll tell you why on our next walk around the neighborhood. KEEP UP YOUR WORK!!! The world’s a better place with you marching on top of it!

    Optimistically,
    Heather McKeown

    1. Heather, I think you may have confused my blog with Dirons’. None the less, he told me you write as well. Would love to touch basis with you! Let’s talk on twittwr, @ShashaSelflove, happy new year and let’s keep writing!

      1. Hi Sasha, I’m such a non-techie. Yes, I thought this was Diron’s blog…wondered why he named it ‘Sasha’. I don’t do twitter…joined a few years ago but never used it. Best to e-mail one another. You have my e-mail, methinks. Happy New Year!!! Heather

  3. Shasha,
Happy New Year, and thank you for taking time out to visit my blog. I’m loving your blog, and I look forward to reading more of your posts.
    Sincerely,
    Samara
