There is nothing wrong with saying, “I don’t know”. There is nothing wrong with admitting to a mistake, because your integrity is kept intact. You don’t have to stammer through excuses or make up a lie, you simply can admit that you aren’t a walking encyclopedia and try finding out the correct answer.
At times we do things, with the best of our intentions go into a situation and still it turns out wrong. Why? I honestly don’t know. It seemed like everything was right, you checked for what could go wrong. You put in thought and effort into so many details and still – it didn’t turn out as you had hoped. Chalk it up to “not meant to be”, perhaps. A humbling experience may be what we need in order to understand certain matters. I have learned that with personal matters, the truth always comes out – the answer isn’t immediately available. I think and over think why things have gone wrong. And then I remind myself to wait and see.
So there it is, you don’t have to know all the answers and it is also ok to allow the answer to come to you. Just stay positive and allow yourself to learn the art of patience (I am trying, “trying” being the operative word). When the time is right, everything will come together the way it is supposed to. Big hug!
