@ShashaSelflove 3/26/19 – See The Ghost

Have you ever demonstrated so much patience to someone that you ended up questioning yourself? You attempted to give them the time they needed, without realizing that they were taking advantage of your compassion. You listened to their misdirection and they never realized that you were allowing them the space to heal. It got to be hurtful when they didn’t value what you had given them, they simply disregarded it. How do recover from being treated like you never mattered? As hard as it is to say out loud, you have to find the strength to move on. In those moments when you have given so much, I want you to remember that you have to love yourself first – and there is nothing selfish about that.

I know what it is like to give someone space in your life that really had no place being there. You give them an opportunity because you think your intentions have been heard and that person is on the same page as you. But they aren’t, the ground shakes underneath you and you can no longer ignore the cracks in the wall. You criticize yourself for not having patience and yet after demonstrating much more than you had handle – they still don’t see the value of your gift.

What do you do then? Deep breath. You do not stick around, unless there is something that ties you to this person that is an obligation. Move on with your journey, there are more chances to be embraced along the way. Don’t feed into self doubt and stay under the crushing pain that this has brought you, push through and rest assured that you are intact. You haven’t lost a battle – on the contrary, you have gained the spoils of war which is wisdom. I know it is hard, based on experience – you are going to be great because you don’t need a hero to save you, the answers are within. Big Hug!
